THE OPPORTUNITY

Horizon CPA is a mid-size professional accounting firm located in downtown Vancouver. We provide hands-on accounting, tax compliance, advisory and financial planning services to entrepreneurs, professional corporations, and other privately-owned entities.
We are looking for full-time Bookkeeper to join our team and provide exceptional services to our clients. Just like us, you are a tenacious self-starter. You are a team-player and understand that it is the little things that contribute to the quality of the work you present.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of our team, you’ll handle a variety of bookkeeping and accounting support tasks, including:

• Full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other bookkeeping applications
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll processing and remittances
• WCB filings and reconciliations
• GST/PST filings and compliance
• Month-end and year-end preparation for accountants
• Communicating with clients and government agencies (CRA, WCB, etc.) in a professional, approachable way
