QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience with QBO.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and tax preparation is a plus.

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeping Contractor to join our team. This remote position offers flexibility and fosters teamwork, training, and company culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record receipts in Dext or QuickBooks Online.
- Record sales and expenses from third-party apps such as Square, Stripe, Shopify, etc.
- Categorize transactions in the bank feed and match them to bills, expenses, and sales deposits.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and information for each client.
- Assist with payroll processing and related filings.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Update the project management software to reflect completed tasks.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required to support your role and responsibilities.
- Keep the account manager informed about the status of client work, including any delays.
- Provide support for bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical errors in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Stay current on bookkeeping best practices and regulatory requirements.
