QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeping Contractor to join our team. This remote position offers flexibility and fosters teamwork, training, and company culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Record receipts in Dext or QuickBooks Online.
  • Record sales and expenses from third-party apps such as Square, Stripe, Shopify, etc.
  • Categorize transactions in the bank feed and match them to bills, expenses, and sales deposits.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and information for each client.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related filings.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Update the project management software to reflect completed tasks.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required to support your role and responsibilities.
  • Keep the account manager informed about the status of client work, including any delays.
  • Provide support for bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical errors in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Stay current on bookkeeping best practices and regulatory requirements.
