Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily financial operations of the organization by maintaining accurate records, assisting with reconciliations, and ensuring financial information is organized and up to date. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to maintain confidentiality while working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Record and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger entries Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements Support the preparation of financial reports for management review Organize and maintain financial documentation and files Assist with account reconciliations and variance analysis Respond to internal financial inquiries as needed Support the annual audit process by gathering required documentation Collaborate to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance function If you are a motivated and organized professional who enjoys working with numbers and supporting financial operations, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity. Requirements Qualifications: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. 2+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and healthcare billing practices. Familiarity with medical insurance billing and coding practices is a plus. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment: The bookkeeper will work in an office setting. Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, manual dexterity sufficient to operate and a computer for inputting data, telephone, and copy/fax machine.
