JMD Group LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is an established accounting firm in St. Paul, Alberta. We are located approximately 200KM northeast of Edmonton in a community of over 5,000 people.
Our office provides compilation, review, and audit services. We also provide personal and corporate income tax preparation and planning services as well as estate and succession planning services to clients in different stages of their lives. We are an approved training office. There are currently six partners ranging in age from 36 to 71, one staff CPA, fourteen accounting technicians and two support staff.

Our ideal candidate would have bookkeeping experience (a diploma or degree is not a requirement for the job). Previous public practice experience would be preferred but is not required.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Bookkeeping and record management.
• Preparation of GST returns.
• Experience with Caseware, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
• Applicants must be self motivated and have strong communication and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
