£28,000 – £34,000 PER ANNUM (PRO RATA FOR PART-TIME HOURS)

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their forward-thinking team on a temporary, part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values flexibility and is keen to advance their career in the accounting field. This opportunity is offered on a flexible work arrangement, with a working pattern of between 3 to 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
