Position Summary The Bookkeeper / Office & Project Manager is a dual-role position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also driving operational initiatives forward. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping, the individual will handle advanced accounting functions, support financial analysis, and act as a project manager to ensure business priorities and initiatives stay on track. The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially savvy, and capable of coordinating across departments to support leadership in executing strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally with project accounting or government contract exposureStrong understanding of GAAP, payroll, and compliance
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks (Online preferred) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
  • Background in project management, operations, or executive support strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and work independently
