ABOUT YOU

We are currently looking for a full cycle Bookkeeper with minimum of 3 years of public practice experience or equivalent.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
· Performing diversified bookkeeping, accounting and tax assignments;
· Full cycle accounting to trial balance, including bank, credit card, AR & AP reconciliation and reporting;
· Providing assistance to clients with meeting their regulatory compliance filings, including:
o Payroll,
o PST / GST
o T4s, T5018’s
· Preparing personal tax returns and other personal tax filings;
· Preparing internally generated reports
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Strong accounting background with proven capability in reconciliation, investigative and problem-solving work;
- Strong computer skills and a strong knowledge of accounting systems including Sage and Quickbooks;
- Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment and the ability to work on multiple engagements concurrently.
