Experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper (Sydney-based)
Location: Belrose, NSW
Commitment: Half-day (4 hours) every fortnight

Description:
We are a small, dynamic company based in Belrose, NSW, seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support our accounting needs. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time/casual work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Prepare basic financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax and accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in Xero.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Proficient in Xero.
  • Strong understanding of GST, BAS preparation, and general bookkeeping principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Must be physically based in Sydney and able to visit our office in Belrose occasionally.
