Hi, I’m Leo Dack.
Thanks for taking the time to check out this opportunity – I really do appreciate it. Before you dive into the details, I’d like to share a bit about me, our journey so far, and what kind of business you’d be joining.
I started out in the motor trade straight from school, working at a Vauxhall dealership. In 2010, I launched a small independent garage in Lincoln called Vauxalist – just me, one ramp, and a clear goal: to build an automotive group that puts people first, delivers exceptional service, and never stops evolving.

That one-man band has grown into the Dack Group, now operating across Lincoln, Northampton, Solihull, and Coventry, with 80+ people working across:

• Service Departments
• A Vehicle Bodyshop
• A Ford Service Centre & Used Car Dealership
• Coachbuild & Van Conversions
• New & Used Van Sales
• Van Rental

These departments operate across our group brands:
Dack Motor Group, Central Garage Ford, and Synergy Autocentres.
We’re not a corporate PLC, and we’re proud of that. We’re privately owned, close-knit, and led by people who still roll up their sleeves. We’re also IT-led, and we embrace technology and change to stay ahead – even when it’s uncomfortable.
Our ambition to keep growing, innovating, and pushing the boundaries brings its challenges, which is why we need people who are happy to muck in, support each other, and stay solutions-focused.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Keep our financial records accurate and up to date
• Handle supplier invoices, payments, and customer receipts
• Carry out bank reconciliations and keep ledgers tidy
• Submit VAT returns and help keep us on track with HMRC deadlines
• Support with payroll and staff expenses
• Keep an eye on customer and supplier accounts, chasing or reconciling where needed
• Help with month-end and year-end tasks, working alongside our finance team and accountants
