Job Summary:
Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our busy Finance Team.
This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week 3/4 hours per day, based in Ladbroke Grove. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Process supplier and vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts.
- Reconcile supplier statements and accounts.
- Process employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control:
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collections.
- Perform credit control tasks, following up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow reports.
Banking & Reconciliations:
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
- Reconcile company credit card transactions and expenses.
General Accounting & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
