JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our family office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting department by managing various financial tasks, including bookkeeping as well as back office system Intelliflo (IO). This position is perfect for individuals who are organised, possess strong numerical skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting softwares such as QuickBooks and Xero as well as back office system Intelliflo (IO)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records across all accounts.
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting software.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee and process IO reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports as required by management.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts and payments.
  • Assist in the maintenance of financial filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
