Job Description for Bookkeeper – Urban Space Holdings Ltd
Urban Space Holdings Group is looking to recruit bookkeeper to join the finance team. The group operating in a variety of industries including property management, events and boat building. USH operates a unique site in East London on the Thames riverside fostering the creative arts.
The bookkeeper will play a key role in supporting the finance team in this busy and varied small group of companies.
Core Job Responsibilities:
· Generate sales invoices
· Maintain spreadsheets analysing and comparing income & costs
· Check timesheets and record in a spreadsheet to analyse
· Print online bank transactions & post onto Sage weekly
· Bank reconciliations
· Generate return deposit and email out remittance advices
· Distribute purchase invoices for managers for approval, check coding and other details, post to Sage and file.
· Distribute credit card statement to managers. Chase credit card receipts and complete analysis, post to Sage and make journal entries for intercompany
· Check purchase statement against purchase ledger for missing invoices
· Manage recognition of monthly changes in deferred income and journal to Sage
· Other duties as directed by line manager consistent with candidate’s level of experience and responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

· Good organization, attention to detail, time management is essential and dependability and confidence
· 2 yrs + practical experience of Sage 50 and intermediate level Excel skills
· AAT level 2
· Familiarity with other Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14,560.00-£17,680.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
