Description Surgical Specialists Group of Michigan is seeking a part-time bookkeeper for a consistent, low-hour weekend/monthly role. This position is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income with a predictable schedule. This is an on-site position only - no remote work. Responsibilities Run monthly bank reports and statements Enter and reconcile financial data in QuickBooks Maintain accurate and organized bookkeeping records Identify and report discrepancies Ensure timely completion of monthly entries Meet with the Administrator to review monthly reports, address questions, and ensure clarity and accuracy of all financial data prior to submission Schedule Work is performed on-site, in the city of Saint Clair Shores. You may choose any 2 days (Saturday and/or Sunday) within the first 3 weekends of the month No work is scheduled on the 4th or 5th weekends Total time commitment: approximately 10–16 hours per month Reliability Expectations Long-term commitment required — please do not apply if seeking short-term or flexible/variable work Must demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliability with the understanding of the schedule commitments. This role requires a high level of reliability - frequent call-offs, rescheduling, or last-minute changes are not acceptable Timely completion is critical: reports must be prepared for internal review and submitted to our financial advisor by the 20th of each month Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks (required) Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience (required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy (required) Ability to work independently - training will be provided initially. Responsibilities
