JOB SUMMARY

  • Start Date: Sept 2025
  • Job Location: Beamsville, Ontario
  • Employee Type: Full-time (on-site)
  • Compensation range: $55,000 to $92,000 annually depending solely on experience and ability.

JOB POSITION

We are seeking a skilled and organized bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will handle key financial tasks and support the day-to-day accounting needs of OWL including payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and facilitate the A/R and A/P processes
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate data management
  • Prepare all entries and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and file monthly HST audit and remittances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Canadian tax regulations
  • Prepare and file monthly payroll and CRA remittances
  • Prepare corporate management reports for members of the leadership team
  • Prepare and post monthly entries in Quick Books online while maintaining supporting documentation and schedules
  • Set up payment for vendors
  • Assist with external audit requests
  • Prepare Year End accounting documentation for handoff to Accounting firm.
  • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Diploma, certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of relevant bookkeeping experience, preferably with Quickbooks
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be a legal resident of Canada
