QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or more years of hands-on bookkeeping and payroll experience.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 and other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, payroll regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Responsibilities
  • Process and manage payroll accurately and on time.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Utilize Sage 50 and other bookkeeping software to maintain financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with BC tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Assist with financial reporting and budget preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records for job costing and project-related expenses.
  • Support the management team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
