QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance administration.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Professionalism and discretion in dealing with financial records and communications.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping function and support the Finance Manager in providing timely financial management reports for the Management team.
The primary role is to record and maintain financial transactions. This includes processing income, expenses, sales, and payments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Accurate recording of these transactions and use of the accounting software is critical to enable timely and accurate compilation of the monthly management accounts by the Finance Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process and record daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, sales, and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial management reports for the management team.
  • Support the Finance Manager in various financial tasks and projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes are integrated and efficient.
