JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices, including payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and budgeting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of budgetary compliance.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analyze accounts to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
