JOB OVERVIEW

Kinetic OHS is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a full-time position at our office in North Vancouver.
Kinetic OHS is an occupational health & safety consulting company. We take pride in our diverse workforce and our commitment to creating a safe workplace. The candidate should have experience with bookkeeping for consulting or contracting companies.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Wages are based on qualifications and current market conditions.

SKILLS

  • Experience in bookkeeping (consulting/trades industry will be an asset)
  • Must be proficient with Quickbooks Online
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Excellent written & verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry & record keeping
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in group/team environments
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel programs
  • Be reliable and trustworthy

Responsibilities
  • Prepare invoices
  • Prepare WCB, GST, eTaxBC, CRA calculations and other compliance filings.
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records regularly.
  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Update & maintain financial records.
  • Verify & monitor financial transactions for accuracy and resolve.
  • Communicate effectively with our Accountant
  • Answer phones when Receptionist is busy/away.
