The company is an underground utility and service detection and mapping company, supporting safe and efficient earthworks by providing various services. Our focus is on construction and earthwork projects by helping teams identify underground utilities early, reducing the risk of service strikes and improving site coordination for work to proceed safely and smoothly. Role Overview As a Bookkeeper, you will handle day-to-day accounting and finance administration, ensuring accurate records for revenue, expenses, payables/receivables, and basic reporting. You will support smooth invoicing and collections across projects and service jobs. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate full set / partial set bookkeeping (depending on company setup), including daily entries and reconciliations. Handle Accounts Payable (AP): supplier invoices, payment preparation, filing, tracking due dates. Handle Accounts Receivable (AR): invoicing to clients, receipts tracking, basic follow-up for outstanding payments. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cashflow tracking. Support payroll admin (basic) and staff claims (if applicable). Organise documentation for accountant/auditor: invoices, receipts, purchase orders, delivery orders, etc. Assist with monthly reporting: expense summaries, AR/AP aging, simple management reports. Ensure proper record keeping for compliance and internal controls.
