JOB TITLE: BOOKKEEPER

Rideout Business Services is a bookkeeping and payroll service company.
We are currently looking for part-time bookkeepers to work at our office in Brantford.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 9 am to 1 pm for a total of 20 hours per week.
In the future, we may be able to offer up to 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Verify and enter bookkeeping and payroll transactions.
Process bank reconciliations.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurate and consistent for multiple companies.
General office administration duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper and/or a graduate of a college or university Bookkeeping/Accounting program.
Ability to read and understand financial reports.
Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
Our business uses various accounting and payroll software programs. We will require you to have operational knowledge of one or more accounting software program(s).
NOTE: When submitting a resume, please list the business and/or accounting software programs you have operational knowledge and/or expertise in using.
A strong ability to read, write and speak English is necessary.
