Bookkeeper

Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is in search of a Bookkeeper to become a part of our team in the agriculture sector. This role is based in Fresno, California, and will involve managing financial transactions, maintaining precise records, and assisting in financial reporting processes.

• Manage daily financial transactions, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable
• Utilize Famous software to maintain precise records of income, expenses, and other financial undertakings
• Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management
• Prepare financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Aid in the preparation of payroll and taxes
• Monitor and track inventory costs, as well as expenses linked to agricultural operations
• Ensure all activities are compliant with company policies and relevant regulations
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accounts payable and receivable
• Handle account reconciliation using Microsoft Excel
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role
• Proficient in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Skilled in performing bank reconciliations
• Solid bookkeeping skills are essential
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in handling payroll tasks
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus.
