POSITION SUMMARY:

Bolt Farm Treehouse is seeking a friendly and passionate Bookkeeper Specialist (Virtual Assistant) to join our team. Your role as Bookkeeper Specialist (Virtual Assistant) is to ensure timely & accurate execution of all business administration & accounting needs. This role is also responsible for establishing and executing internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures, including an always-current financial dashboard of the company’s financials & critical numbers.
While this is an extensive, detailed list, the spirit of the position is to holistically manage all aspects of business administration and bookkeeping, providing data and insights to help grow the company’s revenue, while also finding ways to reduce expenses.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Bookkeeping Expertise: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in bookkeeping, financial management, and accounting principles.
• Experience using Google Workspace for collaboration and productivity.
• High proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
• Ability to understand and follow instructions given in conversational U.S. English.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate information effectively to supervisors and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with relevant accounting software and financial management tools and willingness to learn and use AI technology.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in typing, processing, and relaying information.
• Familiarity with common business terminology used in U.S. operations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience translating verbal instructions into written reports or actionable tasks.
• Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients.
• If an international candidate, experience working across time zones with a U.S.-based team is required.
