REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks would be considered an asset.
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in keyboard skills and data entry.
• Ability to Multi-task, Organize, and Prioritize Work
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour plus summer bonus

  Schedule: Full Time - Monday to Friday working 8.30am-5pm

• Complete an accurate and punctual full-cycle accounting process, including monthly journal entries and reconciliations of cash, bank accounts, credit cards and revenues.
• Review night audit postings and reporting for accuracy.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable management.
• Prepare and file GST, PST, MRDT, EHT, WCB and other statutory returns.
• Support with payroll processing, including the issuing of T4 statements.
• Prepare timely financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analysis and financial management reports.
• Coordinates the budgeting process.
• Work with the executive committee to compile cash flow forecast information.
• Support the accounts payable process with accurate posting, reporting and payment of invoices as required.
• Assist in administering the corporate credit card program and merchant accounts.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with both internal and external customers/partners including Resort Management, Rental Pool Owners, Financial Institutions, Accountant, and Auditors.
• Respond to Rental Pool Owners requests for information.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform other duties as required.
