ABOUT US

We are a small but growing business with multiple operations, including a bookkeeping firm and a nursery greenhouse. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, motivated, and adaptable to help with both bookkeeping and administrative tasks that keep our businesses running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bookkeeping experience or training required (QuickBooks Online preferred).
  • Familiarity with payroll, tax filings, and WCB processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with workflow automation tools/software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Food Safe, WorkSafe, or grants is an asset, but not required—willingness to learn is most important.

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks (QuickBooks Online).

  • Support reconciliations, reporting, and government remittances.
  • Use and improve workflow automation tools/software to streamline processes.
  • Administrative Support
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents for our greenhouse nursery.
  • Assist with Food Safe and WorkSafe documentation and compliance.
  • Research and prepare grant applications and government program submissions.
  • General office administration, filing, and recordkeeping.
  • Provide support with other tasks and projects as needed.
