Our all-inclusive platform provides a dynamic CRM, fundraising & giving tools, online donations & payment processing, built-in fund accounting system, integrated payroll, email marketing, website builder, and much more. We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our fast growing Professional Services department. As a crucial member of our dynamic team, your primary role will be to serve as a full charge bookkeeper to our moderate complex Medium customers, collaborating with the customers to ensure the accuracy and currency of their financial records and exceptional customer experience. If you excel in collaborative problem solving and are passionate about bookkeeping, technology, and customer services, this position is an excellent fit for you. What You'll Be Doing: Manage full cycle of bookkeeping services for multiple Medium customers concurrently, including data entry, reconciliations, payroll, donations and periodic accounting clean-up as necessary Deliver an average billable utilization of 70% Understand organizational needs and provide valuable feedback, proposing solutions to enhance information clarity Maintain a high customer net promoter score (9 or 10) by building positive relationships with the customer, communicating proactively, and providing quality and satisfactory services. Adhere to established processes to ensure robust financial controls are in place Identify areas for process improvement, actively participating in collaborative knowledge-sharing with teammates We believe that no one meets 100% of the listed qualifications. If you feel like you meet most of the following, we encourage you to apply. 3-5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping A degree in accounting, finance or business Good knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit bookkeeping practice Great knowledge and experience with Aplos or other accounting software Proficient in computer skills, with strong command of Microsoft Excel Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently with strict deadlines Proven experience working in a team oriented environment Strong attention to details Why work with us? If you need more convincing, here’s the rest of it: 💵 Salary – $22/hr for US candidates and $50,000 - $60,000 for Canadian candidates. Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and geographic location. 🏝️ Paid Time Off Canada: Everyone gets 4 weeks paid leave plus 11 days of public holidays, as well as an ‘end of year shutdown’ which is an extra 2 week company holiday.
