Job Title: Bookkeeper/Office Manager Job Description The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, office organization, and administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position that involves balancing bookkeeping with general office management duties to support the company's operations and ensure a smooth workflow. Responsibilities Manage payroll processes. Enter deposits and expenses into QuickBooks. Oversee accounts payable and receivable. Conduct job costing and work in progress tracking. File and pay monthly and quarterly liabilities, including employer withholding, sales tax, and BWC. Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts. Prepare customer estimates and invoices. Track job flow and enter orders. Purchase necessary materials. Handle phone duties. Essential Skills Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2017 or other recent Desktop versions. Experience with Windows 10, Excel, and Word. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with deadlines, interruptions, and unexpected situations. Reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Recent QuickBooks knowledge is a must. 5 years of experience as an Office Manager/Office Assistant with payroll processing and tax filings is preferred. Experience working in a small business or startup environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Work Environment The work environment is casual and relaxed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
