We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support our Assistant Controller by maintaining accurate financial records and classifying, verifying, and posting transactions and journal entries. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience and qualifications.    What You will do * Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries using accounting software.  * Manage heavy accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking. * Prepare journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliations. * Research past-due balances and resolve vendor billing issues. * Coordinate disbursement accounts and reimbursements. * Review and resolve positive pay exceptions. * Prepare monthly bill-back invoices for internal entities. * Record daily cash receipts and journal entries. * Process monthly bank credit card reimbursements. * Track and review multi-allocated expenses. What You Bring * Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with 2+ years experience. Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis accurately. * Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Yardi Voyager, and Microsoft Office. * Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaborate effectively with team members.  * Time Management: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities
