Abwaab | Bookstores Account Manager Location: Baghdad, Iraq Type: Full-time Department: Bookstores About the Role The Bookstore Accounts Manager plays a key role in managing and expanding Abwaab’s presence across bookstores in Baghdad. The role focuses on driving sales for CT’s subscription-based products, maintaining strong relationships with bookstore partners, and ensuring smooth operations across all sales points. The ideal candidate has strong relationship management and commercial skills, with the ability to oversee multiple accounts, drive performance, and contribute to Abwaab’s mission of making learning accessible and engaging. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain strong relationships with bookstore partners to ensure effective promotion and sales of CT’s subscription products. Oversee sales performance and operations across all assigned bookstores. Coordinate product availability, display, and inventory tracking with bookstore teams. Support bookstore staff with product knowledge and sales techniques. Plan and execute marketing activations and promotional campaigns in coordination with internal teams. Collect and analyze sales data, feedback, and market insights to identify growth opportunities. Prepare regular performance reports for the Head of CT. Identify and onboard new bookstore partners to expand CT’s reach. Ensure all account-related documentation and settlements are accurately maintained. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or partnerships, preferably in the education, publishing, or FMCG sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong analytical and reporting abilities. Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple accounts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or reporting tools. Fluency in Arabic (required); English is an advantage. Preferred Skills Experience working with bookstores or retail distribution networks. Understanding of subscription-based or educational products. Strong organizational and coordination abilities in a fast-paced environment.
