We also know that sustainability and inclusivity are core to our success, and are committed to delivering on both.What You'll Do As a Boring Crew Member, you’ll assist the Operator and Foreman in the installation of underground utilities such as conduit, pipe, or cable using trenchless boring methods. You’ll play a key role in supporting daily field operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Responsibilities: Assisting the Operator in setting up, operating, and maintaining directional boring and drilling equipment. Helping locate and mark existing underground utilities before starting work. Preparing the job site by unloading tools and materials, setting up safety barriers, and organizing equipment. Supporting the crew in drilling pilot holes, reaming, pulling pipe or conduit, and restoring the surface after completion. Performing manual labor such as digging, hauling, cleaning, and compacting backfill as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Following direction from the Foreman and Operator while adhering to all safety procedures and company policies. Reporting any safety concerns, equipment issues, or delays immediately to the Foreman. What You'll Have Some experience working in construction, underground utilities, or directional boring preferred (training provided for motivated candidates). Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn how to operate boring and support equipment. Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and function effectively as part of a crew. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites. Commitment to teamwork, safety, and high-quality workmanship.
