We are interested in experienced Botanists that can manage projects, lead field surveys and write technical reports. Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Based in our Perth office, the Flora & Vegetation Team are experts in their field, with demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive detailed flora and vegetation surveys, targeted significant species surveys, technical reporting, and impact assessments. We have an exciting pipeline of current and upcoming projects spanning across the Pilbara, Great Victoria Desert, Great Sandy Desert, Gascoyne, Geraldton Sandplain and Esperance Sandplain bioregions of Western Australia.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Tertiary qualification in biological or environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years related experience in undertaking flora and vegetation surveys, ideally with an environmental consultancy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting skills.
  • The desire and ability to undertake field work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and embrace innovation.
  • Taxonomic experience will be seen as beneficial but not essential.
