Green Bottle Depot -Banff is seeking a permanent, long-term manager!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The manager will be responsible for ensuring that the bottle depot is running efficiently and effectively while adhering to BCMB, ABCRC & BDL standards and serving customers in a timely manner.

While overseeing the daily operations of the bottle depot, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • handling employee relations & training
  • ensuring accurate counts of recycled containers
  • organizing shipments & bottle drives
  • scheduling commercial pickups
  • performing basic building & machinery maintenance
  • submitting daily paperwork to our Edmonton-based head office
  • good physical condition
  • mechanically inclined
  • basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets) are mandatory, but additional IT skills would be a significant asset
  • good communication & organizational skills
  • ability to supervise, delegate, and schedule 7 - 10 employees
  • forklift certification is an asset

We are offering remuneration of $20 - $23/hour, based on qualifications, paid bi-weekly, along with a comprehensive benefits plan which includes life, AD&D, medical, dental, and vision coverage.
