WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

We are currently looking for an Experienced Bottle Inspection Supervisor to join our team in West Cork Distillers, Skibbereen.
As a Bottle Inspection Supervisor, you will play a key role in a new division within the Company.
Fluent English is required for this position to ensure that Health and Safety policies and procedures are fully understood and adhered to.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

  • Manage inspection teams ensuring efficiency and quality are maintained at all times during offloading, product inspection and onloading
  • Ensure product inspections are conducted in strict accordance with customer requirements
  • Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure high volume production schedule requirements are met
  • Ensure all employees and visitors without exception adhere to the PPE guidelines in the production areas
  • Ensure the production area is kept clean and free of any items which may cause obstruction or pose a health and safety risk
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our line operations ensuring that they are maintained in good working order to meet production requirements
  • Liaise closely with onsite and off site Technician(s) to ensure faults are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adequate line resourcing at all times.
  • Work with the Bottling Production Manager to implement new process improvements.
  • Adhere to the strictest health and safety standards
  • Ensure the bottling hall is in an audit ready state at all times and compliant with BRC/HSA/HACCP and other standards
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to ensure products are palleted and logged correctly
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern. You will work Monday to Thursday, with the following two-week cycle:

  • Week 1-2: 6:00am to 6:00pm (Day shift)
  • Week 3-4: 6:00pm to 6:00am (Night shift
