We are seeking a Bottling Line Operator to join our Operations Team in a full time permanent position.
Reporting into the Packaging Supervisors, The Bottling Line Operator will be responsible for the bottling and packaging of wine and other beverage alcohol products, meeting both Company and Government quality standards while working with other team members to ensure safe work practices and the efficient operation of the Bottleshop.
We are looking for someone who has the desire to develop in their role and become a Level 2 and 3 Operator, using progressively technical equipment and completing changeovers. It is expected that you are available Monday through Friday for dayshift, and Monday to Thursday for afternoon shifts on a rotation - working nights occasionally will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in training program and qualification process for a Level 1 Line Operator.
  • Demonstrate proficiency while operating the various work stations required in Level 1: Line 4 bag-in-box, palletizers and packers, wirehooder and foil application.
  • Maintain quality standards by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Reports any and all quality concerns to the Packaging Supervisor or Manager.
  • Perform quality inspections during production and document them per SOP training.
  • Communicates any maintenance issues to Bottleshop Lead Operator.
  • Cleans equipment and machines when required and ensures the work area is neat, clean and organized.
  • Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions / hazards and work related injuries to the Packaging Manager.
  • Re-work product as required, i.e. re-labeling, debottling, and inspection. #APSJ
