OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a positive atmosphere for both employees and customers.

REQUIREMENTS -

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience as a barista or in hospitality is considered an asset.
    All training will be provided- we are simply looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure seamless service throughout their visit.
  • Provide attentive table service and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage cash handling processes, including operating the POS system effectively (Micros POS experience is a plus).
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Train new employees on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
