Description

At Sash + Bustle we strive to create a personalized shopping experience to suit the needs of every individual client. This role is intended to provide students with an immersive paid learning opportunity in the fashion and bridal industry. Your main role as the Boutique Intern is to enhance the experience for each visitor by ensuring all clients are comfortable and happy, the space is represented to our standard and client needs are communicated effectively with the team. Additionally, the Boutique Intern will monitor the daily schedule, book appointments, and support the team with the fast pace of weekends.

  • Welcoming clients and greeting them in a friendly manner. Making sure all clients are comfortable in the space and appointment is confirmed
  • Answering the phone and general inquires
  • Maintaining overall store presentation, inclusive of running gowns, organizing the showroom, styling mannequins, and general cleaning of shared spaces
  • Monitoring the schedule and booking appointments
  • Steaming and preparing orders for pickup

    What we are looking for…
    You thrive in an intimate yet fast paced environment and are very confident when working alone. You pride yourself in having professional communication skills and are able to confidently handle customer service problems and requests adeptly. You have an interest in learning more about bridal fashion and the world of sales. You are a true self-starter who is patient, organized and takes pride in being able to multi-task. You enjoy working for a small independent business and have motivation to contribute and improve your workplace.

You’ll need to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current enrollment in a Fashion or Hospitality program
  • Interest and knowledge in Fashion
  • Willingness to work in the evenings and weekends

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working in high end retail
  • Passion for weddings
