Description Cannon Bowl is seeking a reliable and skilled Bowling Alley Mechanic to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our pinsetter machines and other technical equipment. This role ensures that all lanes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to provide guests with an exceptional bowling experience. Requirements Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on all pinsetter machines, lane equipment, scoring systems, ball returns, and supporting mechanical components. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent lane functionality. Diagnose and repair broken or malfunctioning parts, including replacing belts, motors, sensors, switches, and other components as needed. Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, potential failures, and required adjustments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area and machine room. Respond quickly to lane or equipment malfunctions during operating hours. Monitor inventory of spare parts and notify management when supplies need to be ordered. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with equipment operation standards. Assist with special projects such as machine upgrades, installation of new equipment, and seasonal tune-ups. Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Qualifications Previous experience as a bowling alley mechanic or experience in mechanical/electrical repair strongly preferred (QubicaAMF, Brunswick, or similar machines). Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues quickly. Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, sensors, motors) is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces. Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
