POSITION SUMMARY

Food Finders is seeking a reliable and motivated Box Truck Driver who will play a dual role in our mission: safely transporting rescued food from donors to community partners, while also cultivating new food donor relationships.
This position ensures timely food recovery operations while representing Food Finders in the community, building trust with existing and potential food donors and strengthening relationships with our partner agencies.
This position involves operating a refrigerated box truck for food recovery and delivery, increasing donor engagement, and prospecting new food generators such as manufacturers and distributors. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, reliable, and skilled in both logistics, community relations and sales. This is a full-time position with occasional weekend and after-hour responsibilities, reporting to the Director of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Associates degree preferred; experience in sales, logistics, nonprofit, or community outreach a plus.
· Valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
· Experience driving 18ft Hino or similar refrigerated box trucks.
· Proficient with electric pallet jacks, lift gates, and working from loading docks.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in both warehouse and outdoor conditions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Organized and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with basic logistics tools or apps.
