Planet Aid collects and recycles used textiles to protect the environment and support sustainable development in communities around the world. This role focuses on operating a box truck (up to 20 ft.) to collect and transport donated textiles. You’ll play a key part in ensuring donations are picked up efficiently and delivered safely. What You’ll Do Driving / Route Duties Safely operate box trucks on assigned local routes Service donation bins (collect, clean, and maintain sites) Load and transport donated materials to designated locations Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Communicate any route, site, or safety concerns in a timely manner Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily routes Schedule: Monday-Friday (6:00AM start time) Pay: $18/hour plus bonus (Average $22/hr with bonus), paid weekly Benefits: Health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and 401k Time Off: Paid vacation, sick leave, and 9 holidays Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of box truck or similar driving experience Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and DOT physical Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and working outdoor Planet Aid is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities
Operate a box truck on local routes to collect and transport donated textiles from various sites. Maintain donation bins and ensure all safety procedures and driving regulations are followed.
