Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for interpreting manufacturing documents to assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts, as well as modify and repair components using hand and power tools. You will contribute to high-quality product assembly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, fit, and install parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
  • Act as project lead for low-to-moderate complexity assembly projects.
  • Direct work of junior assemblers (MO2 level) and ensure quality standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings (excluding wiring) and Oracle Bill of Materials.
  • Utilize computer tools, including 3D model viewing software and Microsoft Office.
  • Inspect materials and assemblies for conformance to drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and escalate drawing discrepancies or assembly concerns.
  • Perform modifications and repairs as needed.
  • Apply Lean principles and 5S standards in daily work.
  • Support KANBAN accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform pack and ship duties when required.
  • Flex to other departments as needed to support operations.
