Current-State Assessment: Assess and analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and data collection to map workflows and uncover pain points. Future-State Design: Design and document future-state processes aligned with organizational goals and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on process changes and support cross-functional coordination. Implementation Roadmap: Develop implementation roadmaps and oversee the rollout of redesigned processes. Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish monitoring frameworks to measure process performance and impact. Change Management Support: Support change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and ensure sustainability. Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience leading business process reengineering initiatives for a State Medicaid Agency (SMA), a large healthcare provider management organization of similar size, or an organization of comparable size with complex operational environments. At least three (3) years of experience providing leadership in the planning, execution, and delivery of business process analysis, redesign, and optimization efforts. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Medicaid eligibility processes, including policy, determinations, and enrollment. Bachelor's degree or a minimum of four (4) years of related experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in industry-recognized BPR methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, including Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement approaches. Fluency in Puerto Rican Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and accurately. Proficiency should reflect a strong understanding of regional linguistic and cultural nuances relevant to the Puerto Rican population. Experience working in or with public sector agencies or complex, multi-stakeholder environments is highly desirable. Prefer on island in Puerto Rico. Strong problem-solving, teamwork and customer service skills.
