Job Details Job Location: LaVergne, TN - La Vergne, TN Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: Undisclosed Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Manufacturing Description Press Brake Operators 1st Anchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company located in Lavergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications. Duties and Functions: Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department. Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection. Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations. Perform clerical and labor reporting duties. Maintain a clean and safe work area. May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience and Qualifications: 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred. Blueprint reading Good math skills G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test. Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus. Epicor experience a plus.
