Position Summary: This position is responsible for forming different substrates of sheet metal. These responsibilities include shaping metal, maintaining press brake, reading blueprints, completing inspections, packaging, lifting, and moving of parts & inventory, using a forklift, and following safety regulations. Responsibilities: Safety Ensure safe working conditions are being maintained in your area. Participate in implementation of safety projects when asked. Minimizes hazardous wastes from processes, continually seeking alternatives. Quality Adhere to product verification systems in place throughout build process. Understands preventative and corrective actions and adheres to them. Teammate Promote teamwork, communicate effectively, and provide feedback on progress to your Team Leader. Adhere to company policy and ensure procedures in place are followed. Technical Troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve any equipment or technical issues Adhere to technical and quality standards put in place by Team Leader. Requirements Education and Training: High School Diploma Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Press brake experience is required Understanding of how to read blueprints Computer skills Knowledge of manufacturing basics Ability to follow direction Flexible and can quickly adjust to change Basic use of inspection tooling (tape measures, calipers, etc) Good math skills Knowledge of different types of material Travel Requirements: Minimal Physical Requirements: Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. throughout the day Sit, stand, and bend throughout the workday Materials and Equipment Utilized: • Hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc) • Computers, printers, etc. • Forklift • PPE (safety glasses, gloves, and ear plugs as needed) Working Environment: • 100% Manufacturing: moderate to loud noise, safety glasses and steel toes required
