OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating press brake machines and a solid understanding of various machining processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in operating various machinery, including press brake machines, CNC laser cutting equipment, plasma cutting tools, and CNC milling machines.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and attention to detail in product output.
  • Competence in using hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and required dimensions.
  • Utilize CNC programming for precision machining tasks, including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling, and CNC lathe operations.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during operation.
  • Collaborate with team members in assembly processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
  • Safely operate forklifts and cranes for material handling as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
