The Role As a Brake Press Operator, you won’t just push buttons. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the forming process—from setup and loading to quality inspection and finishing. You’ll work with high-quality drawings and modern equipment to ensure every bend is perfect. What You’ll Do Set Up & Operate: Perform full setups and operate brake or punch presses according to technical drawings and work instructions. Quality Control: Take ownership of your work by evaluating dimensions and correcting defects to ensure 100% accuracy. Finish with Pride: Select and use grinders and abrasives to meet surface requirements and "clean up" parts. Material Handling: Safely move materials using cranes, magnets, and fixtures. Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and look out for your teammates' safety. What We’re Looking For Experience: Previous experience in metal forming or brake press operation is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow sequenced control instructions. Precision: A "get it right the first time" mentality. Safety Mindset: Proven ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Commitment: Must be able to pass our internal shop assessment within your first week.
