JOB SUMMARY

Contour Machine Ltd. has established a reputation for fabrication of high-quality equipment and providing excellent service since 1981. With a history of delivering outstanding workmanship in customizing a wide variety of metal material, including: Stainless Steel, Aluminum Galvanized, Satin Coat, Aluminized, Rolled Steel, Store Fixtures, Office Equipment, Hospital Equipment, Foodservice Equipment, Automotive, Lighting, Enclosures, and HVAC. We are located at 120 Toro Road North York On M3J 2A9 and currently seeking an experienced Brake Press set-up/Operator.

• Set Up and Operate CNC Brake Press Machine
• Read and understand blueprints, work orders, and process documentation
• Measuring of parts
• Follow quality control procedures
• Communicate with co-workers to implement particular plans so that a large variety of parts can be manufactured to meet the demands of work orders
• Adhere to production schedule and follow quality standard
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Metal product fabrication industry
• Experience with Amada machine would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Available to work day shift or afternoon shift
• Strong organizational & communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Forklift license is preferred
• Experience as a lead hand would be a plus
