THE OPPORTUNITY

Hitachi is seeking a Branch Administrator to join the Newcastle branch located in Beresfield in a permanent part-time position. As a Branch Administrator you will be an influential member of the team working cross-departmentally to ensure the efficient completion of Branch Administration and Service Administration support tasks, enabling the Newcastle branch to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Responsibilities

REPORTING TO THE BRANCH COORDINATOR, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • General branch reception duties.
  • Process purchase orders and invoices.
  • Service Workorder preparation and timely closure for all invoicing.
  • Warranty administration and management.
  • Assist in other general administration tasks.
  • Assist with the local administration of branch vehicles.
  • Management of Assura WHS system records.
  • Compile information required for internal & external audits.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel (experience in MS Dynamics is preferable but not essential).
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation, and preparedness to go the extra mile.
  • Technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Sound administration and database management experience.
  • Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
