Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Our Mareeba Rural Store is seeking a new Branch Administrator

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Answer phone calls & email enquiries and directing them to the relevant person
  • Managing inbound and outbound mail
  • Cash handling, daily banking & reconciliation
  • Liaise with transport companies to request quotes / freight movement
  • Processing sales orders and delivery notes
  • Stock ordering, receivals, transfers & inventory control
  • Liaising with suppliers for pricing and ETA on orders
  • Pallet control
  • Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required

To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Have excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Prior administration and data entry experience
  • Positive attitude, great communication skills with the willingness to learn
  • Have good organisation and planning skills
  • The ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office application
