We are looking for a versatile and energetic branch all-rounder to assist in all areas of our branch operations. This role offers variety and the opportunity to get involved in multiple aspects of the business. From customer service and warehouse support. Key responsibilities include: Delivering consistent and high-quality service to our customers Assist customers with trade counter and phone sales enquiries and follow up with quotes, pricing and product enquiries in a timely manner. Accurately enter cash sales, invoices, purchase orders, transfers and picking slips into the computer system in a timely manner Arrange credits for incorrect pricing and returned goods at point of sale; identify reason for credit and rectify problems to eliminate future credits Ensuring sufficient levels of stock are available and advise purchasing department of stock requirements and assist with periodic stock checks Picking and packing of orders including courier and transport documentation Checking picked orders and invoicing. This is a hands-on role that will also require physical manual handling for the purposes of preparing customer orders for dispatch as well as receipting and arranging storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures. About you – Skills and experience: At least have 6 months experience in the warehouse, customer service or similar industry. High attention to detail and solid organization skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to lift heavy bulky items to handle stock as well as picking and packing. Productive and willing team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Good computer skills – Knowledge in outlook, excel etc. Current driver’s license Experience in the Industrial Manufacturing, Hydraulics or similar background (Desirable) What we offer: We also support and encourage ongoing training to develop your knowledge and technical ability to provide superior service to our customers.
