Job Requirements About the Role The Branch Control Support role is part of the Retail Liabilities function within Retail Banking , based in Mumbai. The incumbent will be responsible for centrally supporting all branches with activities related to branch launches, audit reviews, and data management. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational readiness, compliance, and process alignment across the branch network. Key Responsibilities Assist in monitoring daily branch operations for compliance with internal policies. Support in reviewing transaction documentation and exception reports. Help prepare branches for internal and external audits. Track closure of audit observations and maintain compliance records. Compile and maintain operational MIS reports for control manager review. Assist in data collation for dashboards and regulatory submissions. Log and track operational exceptions raised by branches. Coordinate with relevant teams for resolution and documentation. Act as a liaison between branches and control team for operational queries. Support in disseminating updated SOPs and compliance circulars. Maintain organized records of approvals, exceptions, and audit reports. Ensure timely filing and retrieval of operational documents. What We Are Looking For Education Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration. Banking certifications (optional but preferred). Experience 2–3 years in banking operations or back-office support. Internship or exposure to branch banking preferred. Skills and Attributes Basic understanding of banking operations and compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Good interpersonal skills for branch coordination. Integrity and reliability in handling sensitive data. Willingness to learn and adapt to operational changes. Team-oriented with a proactive approach. Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
