Description

It’s an exciting time at Everywhen, as through our continued growth and transformation journey, we are combining our General Insurance (GI) businesses. This journey brings a new, exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Insurance professional to join us as an Insurance Broking Branch Director based in Manchester.
This new Branch Director role acts as the senior leader at a Branch level and will have overall accountability of all aspects of branch business(s). In this role you will have overall accountability for the delivery of the local P&L and be responsible for driving growth through improved retention, cross sales, and new client sales. As the senior local leader, you will set the standards of performance and behavior, acting as a role model to others and leading and motivating the whole Branch team ensuring that they have the correct knowledge, skills, capacity, and resources to grow sales.
The primary focus of this role is providing strong, effective leadership of the Branch, driving and implementing the regional strategy and being accountable for the branch P&L. Overseeing all aspects of branch trading in line with budgets, and constantly reviewing the market and relevant sectors to understand new opportunities, performance against competitors in the market, identify challenges and threats from external competition and maintain key internal relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • At branch level, you will lead and support the team to deliver the best customer outcomes meeting all Consumer Duty requirements whilst working collaboratively with your Regional Director to achieve financial targets for both your branch, region, and the whole GI business.
  • Lead on all aspects of risk management, implementing plans which ensures every colleague meets risk and, where applicable, quality assurance requirements ensuring effective monitoring which highlights trends to enable actions and mitigations to be put into place.
  • Work in collaboration with your Regional Director to highlight potential barriers to retention or new sales and promote opportunities for business growth, sharing good practice and ideas.
  • Constructively highlight to the Regional Director any operational needs or requirements to ensure an optimal customer journey - balancing customer satisfaction and technical standards; implementing solutions, optimising resources, and managing workflow; driving standardisation and continuous improvement in the Branch, tracked, and monitored by meaningful MI.
